Dr. Michael Griffith

Licensed Clinical and Sport Psychologist

I obtained my doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Bowling Green State University.  Before moving to Colorado in 1998, I was licensed in Michigan and worked in outpatient clinical and private practice settings in the greater Detroit area. During my career, I have worked in a variety of settings including private practice, comprehensive medical practices, hospital settings and continue in my current practice specializing with adolescents, young adults and sport performance populations.

My clinical experience includes work with anxiety and depressive disorders, behavioral health problems, academic /learning disorders and ADHD. I utilize an eclectic treatment approach that includes cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, emotional regulation and mental skills training.  In addition to direct clinical services I also provide sport performance services to adolescent, collegiate athletes and local high school and collegiate sports teams.
